Aurigan is the first bitting material developed for use in the horses mouth. It actively encourages the production of saliva.

KK ULTRA​

KK ULTRA bits take advantage of the exceptional sensitivity of the tongue and create an incomparable sensitive contact between horse and rider. The anatomically formed mouthpiece lies perfectly in the horse’s mouth enabling the rider to give subtle rein aids. The unique 45 degree angle of the lozenge rolls down smoothly over the tongue and stimulates it in a gentle but effective way. The ergonomically designed mouthpiece is shaped like the horses tongue, therefore taking up less room. This mouthpiece is gentle to the mouth and tongue and is the mildest bit in the Sprenger range. The KK Ultra bits are perfect to assess a horse in, making them a must for every tack room!

Dynamic RS

Dynamic RS bits are suitable for horses with contact problems, giving soft but very effective aids for a better contact between horse and rider. Due to the ergonomically shaped mouthpiece they lie perfectly in the horse’s mouth resulting in soft and even pressure on the entire tongue area, encouraging the horse to chew. In addition this bit supports the contact to the corners of the mouth in a very effective way, helping to keep the horse on the bit. The gentle joint and lozenge in the middle is angled forward by 45 degrees – the characteristic feature of the KK ULTRA – enables clearly defined rein aids. The Dynamic bits provide a louder voice than the KK Ultra range and are innovative in training young horses and improving the communication with experienced sports horses.

WH ULTRA

The additional feature of the WH ULTRA bits is a unique roller in the centre section that brings an even better focus for the horse onto the tongue. These bits are highly recommended for horses that are unresponsive to the rein aids or heavy inattentive horses with a dry mouth. The tongue is gently stimulated to utilise its highly sensitive sense of touch in an imcomparable way. The horse gets relaxed and stays focused on the tongue preventing it from it being easily distracted, therefore becoming more responsive to the riders rein aids.

novocontact

novocontact bits are designed to create a unique oval shape which widens the contact surface on the tongue while the rider keeps a steady contact. As the rider gives a rein aid the mouthpiece turns forward and the contact surface gets narrower, ensuring more precise and effective communication. novocontact bits improve the interaction between horse and rider for a better contact and acceptance of the bit.

Mullen Mouth Bits

MAX-Control Bits, Stainless Steel

The MAX-Control is a double jointed bit which, at first glance, cannot be distinguished from other double jointed loose ring snaffles. However, it is a correction or training bit which locks at a certain angle and thus becomes a straight bar snaffle with horses that tend to lean on the bit.

The bit lies very well in the mouth when the horse is working properly. When the horse opposes the rider’s hand the more intensive effect occurs.
